Description:
This is a gorgeous Japanese woodblock print by noted shin hanga printmaker Tsuchiya Koitsu. The print depicts a sunset scene at the port of Tomonoura. The print measures about 14 1/2 x 9 1/2 plus full margins. It bears the 6mm Watanabe circular seal lower left. The print is in beautiful condition, never framed. There are two tiny tape remnants in the reverse margins where the print was once affixed to its presentation folder. The color and impression are superb. It is easily the nicest impression I have ever seen of this image.
