Poem by Egyo Hoshi, "To the dim cottage overgrown with thick-leaved vines, in its loneliness comes the dreary autumn time... but there no people come." (Lower cartouche) Taira no Kiyomori wrote a poem on a shoji-screen and then followed the way of Buddhism.
