EVENING SNOW AT KIYOMIZU TEMPLE "EVENING SNOW AT KIYOMIZU TEMPLE", -1950 Later edition ORIGINAL. Image size 14.50" x 10" Condition "Pristine"-never laid down-full margins-no tears, no folds, no creases, no foxing, no stains-PERFECT! Good bleedthrough on verso (see scan). Complete with HASUI signature and Sui (see scan) and authenticated by Watanabe cartouche and seal. The richness of grays and blacks contrasted against starkness of the snow is stirring. The hint of orange and blue in the umbrellas completes the image. This print is absolutely elegant. Scan shows slight discoloration on margins..this DOES NOT appear on the actual print!
