Saturday, 30 April 2005 ARTIST: Chikanobu. FORMAT: Oban, Triptych (14 by 27 ins). TITLE: Uguisu yado no Ume (Plum trees in the hut of Uguise). DATE: 1891. DESCRIPTION: A young prince coming to visit a lady in hiding in a humble cottage. PUBLISHER: Takegawa Unikichi. CONDITION: Slight overall trimming, minor marks and flaws but generally very good impression, colour and condition.
