Description:
Colour woodblock print, oban diptych from an album of 117 sheets. The kabuki actors Ichikawa Danjuro VII as Onio Shinzaemon with swords and holding out a lantern, and Segawa Kikunojo V as his wife Tsukisayo; in the play ‘Nennen Soga kuruwa nikki’ performed at the Nakamura-za in the 1st month of 1818.
