From the series "Kabuki Juhachi Ban" ("Kabuki 18 Famous Plays"). Ichikawa Danjuro is in the role of priest Kukai (top, one of the founder of Shingon Sect) in "Ja Yanagi", one of the famous eighteen kabuki plays by the Ichikawa family. Kukai was printed by Kiyosada, the woman with the net by Tadakiyo.
