Description:
In this series on the revenge of the 47 Ronin, each print represents one of the ronin in action. Beside the title cartouche is a poem and allusive design by one of Kuniyoshi's daughters. Published by Ise-ya Isaburo. In this print Tsugufusa is dressed for travel, to join his comrades in arms, and to his surprise, he discovers that his mother has committed suicide.
