Description:
A kabuki actor is dressed as a Sambaso dancer, with the distinguishing high hat in black and gold stripes with a red roundel on each side. Sambaso is the most famous ceremonial dance of the Kabuki theatre. The actor is dressed in a kimono with designs of crane, pine, plum and bamboo - auspicious symbols.
