Description:
Somestimes titled "Heroine Ochiyo" from the series "The Complete Works of Chikamatsu". This beautiful print was published by the Ishukankokai Publisher of Tokyo in a limited edition of 100 pieces. They quickly sold out and are very difficult to come by these days. Narazaki publisher's seal, Watanabe/Ito printer and carver seals, and a watermark in left margin. Strong ink bleedthrough. Comes with original deluxe folder. This item is from my personal collection and is not for sale.
