I have purchased (maybe a reprint) of a woodblock print best interpreted as: Tsune (nare) maro ga With the mon: Ichikawa monnosuke And a censor mark: Kiwame 1790-1845 It is an excellent print with the quality of Utamaro’s finest work, much detail and beautiful contrasting colors. What do you know of this man (most likely a student of Utamaro)?
