Monday, 1 August 2005 Female Warrior Artist: Toyokuni II (Toyoshige) Format: Oban tate-e: 13.5" x 9.25" Subject: The Kabuki star Segawa Kikunojo in a youthful role as a young bijin warrior, holding a polearm in the snow. Date: c.1820's Condition: Trimmed. Album binding holes and some wormholes along right edge. A little rubbed and soiled at base. Minor marks and flaws. Fair state.
