Monday, 16 May 2005 Artist: Tadamasa Format: Large Oban tate-e: 16" x 10" Subject: The large head portrait of an actor in the role of a Heian courtier wearing kumadori make-up, and a kimono decorated with a golden dragon and clouds. Date: c. 1950 Condition: Full size. A pin-hole in left corners. Very minor creases, marks and flaws. Generally fine state. Colour: Fine colors. Impression: Fine impression with extensive gauffrage.
