Wednesday, 17 August 2005 Artist name: Shinsui Ito (1898 - 1972) Signature / Seal: signed and sealed with 'mihon' seal at bottom left (artist's proof) Title / Subject: Paper lantern of Gifu (from "the first series of the modern beauties") Date: 1930 Size: image 43.0 x 27.6 Condition: very good colour and condition. Some slight toning in the margins Comments: very good impression. As an "artist's proof" it has no edition number on the back, and also lacks 'watanabe seal' Price: £ 950
