Friday, 16 June 2006 Title Lake Ezu limited edition Artist Hasui Kawase 1883-1957 Signature Hasui Seal Artist's seal (Kawase) Dated 1923 Publisher Watanabe Medium/Technique Woodblock print Impression excellent - very good (printed in the early post World War II) Colors very good Condition good … slight paper toning, slight brown discolorations along the margin edges, a crease (2.5 inch long) on the middle-upper right, two tears (1/8 inch long) on the left margin edge, slight creases on the margins. Edition Size 300 Numbered 35 / 300 Description From the series, "Nihon Fukei Senshu" (Selection of Scenes of Japan), Lake Ezu in Kumamoto province. Note Watanabe round 6mm copyright seal.
