Rare Kawase Hasui 1919 Woodblock Print Summer In Ikaho Up for auction is a Vintage Framed Japanese Woodblock Print by Kawase Hasui. fusilier Artist: Kawase Hasui. Medium: Woodblock Print with WaterColor, done in 1919. This print is consideder very rare and most sought after of his work. The reason is the print blocks were destoryed in a earthquke in the Mid 1920's. Size: Print is 18" X 7" Size: Frame is 27 1/2" X 15 1/2" This item is in Excellent condition. It was plublished by Watanabe Shozaburo. It has the I Seal. 1918 - 1924. Prints that were made with this seal are extremely rare.
