Description:

This is a genuine original oban sized shin hanga Japanese woodblock by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) titled "Spring Moon at Ninomiya Beach", dated Showa 7 (March1932) brush signed and sealed in the image. The print was published by Doi Hangaten carver is Harada and printer is Ito. The print is in fine condition. Fine impression, excellent registration, excellent color and strong bleedthrough. No foxing, toning, folds or creases. The print is not trimmed or setdown. Print size is 10.75" x 15.75". The print is # 273 in the Hotei Hasui catalog raisonne.
