Description Champion sumo wrestler, Chiyonofuji (right). He was one of the best "yokozuna" who won more than 800 times during his career. In 1984, he was defeated by a new comer, Konishiki from Hawaii. It caused a sensation. Konishiki later became "ozeki" which was one rank below the grand champion, "Yokozuna".
