Description:

Ömi is located near Kyoto and the present-day Shiga Prefecture. "Eight views of Ömi" was modeled after the Eight Famous Views of the Xiao and Xian Rivers in China, a topic frequently depicted in Chinese or Japanese classical ink brush paintings. Seta is famous for its Chinese-style bridge (Karahashi ), as seen in this print. On the right side, Mount Mikami, known as the Mt. Fuji of the Ömi region (a term of respect), is in the sun's evening glow.? (2008)
