Description:
Colour woodblock print, oban triptych, from an album of 117 sheets. The kabuki actors Matsumoto Koshiro V as Mikawaya Giheiji standing holding a sword in his mouth, Iwai Hanshiro V as Onaka and Ichikawa Danjuro VII as Danshichi; in the play 'Soga matsuri ikiji kurabe' by Tsuruya Nanboku IV performed at the Morita-za in the 5th month of 1813.
