Description:
Colour woodblock print, two sheets from an oban polyptych. The kabuki actors Matsumoto Koshiro V as Furuteya Hachirobei and Ichikawa Danjuro VII as Aburaya Kuheiji in the play ‘Sono sakazuki iro no mitsukumi’ by Tsuruya Nanboku IV, performed at the Ichimura-za in the 1st month of 1815.
