Description:

Colour woodblock print, oban tate-e. Ichikawa Uzaemon XII as Kazu Sashichi (left) and Ichikawa Uzaemon III (right) as Asa-maru (later Kagekiyo), in the play 'Kotoba no hana momiji no yozakari' (詞花紅成盛), performed at the Ichimura theatre, Edo from the 2nd day of the 8th month of 1849 (Kaei 4).
