Woodblock triptych print, oban tate-e. Scene from the kabuki play 'Sekinoto', set in the theatre, with the actors Onoe Kikugoro III as Sumizome (right), Bando Mitsugoro IV as Hige no Kuronushi (centre) holding a giant axe, and Ichimura Uzaemon XII as Yorinobu (left).
