Scene from the kabuki play 'Hakata no Uchikake', with the kabuki actors Ichikawa Danjuro VII (centre) as the pirate captain Kezori Kuemon armed with an axe, Bando Shuka (right) as the courtesan Hakata Kojoro, and Ichimura Uzaemon XII (left) as Komatsu-ya Soshichi, all standing on a bridge.
