Woodblock diptych print, oban tate-e. Scene from the kabuki play of 'Oguri gaiden’. The kabuki actor Onoe Kikujiro as Terute-hime (left) in a wooden boat, Ichikawa Kodanji I (right), falling from a tree into the water, as the fisherman Namishichi, and Ichikawa Ichizo, in the water, as the fisherman Dohachi (right).
