Coloue woodblock print, oban. The kabuki actor Onoe Eizaburo I as Tosa no Matahei grappling with a giant carp ('koi tsukami') in the play 'Okuni gozen kesho no sugatami' by Katsu Hyozo I, performed at the Morita-za in the 6th month of 1809.
