Description:

Colour woodblock print, oban. The kabuki actors Matsumoto Yonesaburo I as Koshimoto Izayoi, standing, with Nakamura Denkuro IV as Soga no Denzaburo, in the play ‘Omonbi kuruwa Soga’ by Kanai Yusuke I, performed at the Ichimura-za in the 1st month of 1799.
