Colour woodblock print, oban. The kabuki actor Ichikawa Yaozo III of the ‘Tachibanaya’ acting house as Fuwa Banzaemon, standing with swords and holding an open fan; in the play ‘Keisei sanbon karakasa’, (alternate title: ‘Keisei sanbongasa’), performed at the Miyako-za in the 7th month of 1794.
