Colour woodblock print, right sheet of an oban diptych. The kabuki actor Ichikawa Kuzo II as Togashi no Saemon in the play ‘The Subscription Scroll’ (‘Kanjincho’) (勧進帳), from the ‘Kabuki Juhachiban’, by Namiki Gohei III with music by Kineya Rokusaburo IV; performed at the Kawarasaki-za in the 3rd month of 1840 (Tenpo 11).
