Description:

Colour woodblock print, oban diptych. The kabuki actors Onoe Kikugoro III as Oboshi Yuranosuke (left sheet), and Iwai Kumesaburo II as Okaru, in Act VII, 'Gion Ichiriki Jaya', of the play 'Kanadehon Chushingura' by Takeda Izumo II, Miyoshi Shoraku and Namiki Senryu; performed at the Nakamura-za from the 7th month of 1825.
