Colour woodblock print, oban. The kabuki actor Nakamura Utaemon III as Mitsugi’s aunt Oei (Mitsugi oba Oei) standing in front of shoji paper screens, in the play ‘Ise ondo koi no netaba’ by Chikamatsu Tokuzo and others, performed at the Nakamura-za in the 7th month of 1814.
