Illustrated book, print. 1 vol. Print of 'uguisu' (nightingale) on flowering plum inside front cover; thirty-six single-page images depicting one of the classic Thirty-six Poets, accompanied by two, usually female, attendants in contemporary 'Ukiyoe' style. With verse of poet above cloud line. Colour woodblock-printed, in very light colours.
