From the series, "Toto Fuji Sanju-roku Kei" (Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji from the Eastern Capital). Mt. Fuji is seen from Naito, Shinjuku in Edo. Kabuki actors, Sawamura Tossho II and Sawamura Tanosuke (left). This is an actor print in the disguise of landscapes in order to escape the censorship. Landscape was done by Hirokage and actors by Kunisada.
