From Sugakudo's best known series, "Sho Utsushi Shiju-hachi Taka" (Exact Reproductions of Forty-eight Hawks). No. 45. A bird on the snow covered nandin branch. Sugakudo was a highly regarded pupil of Hiroshige for his kacho-ga. "Hiyodori" (Bulbul) and red Nandin bush under snow.
