"Kanadehon Chishingura" Act. 2. Lord Momoi Wakasa was annoyed by Moronao's rudeness and decided to kill him. His chief councelor Honzo is cutting a pine branch to show Wakasa how to deal with his enemy. Honzo's daughter Konami and Rikiya, son of the 47 Ronin leader Oboshi Yuranosuke, are seen together on the upper left.
