From the supplement of "Dai Chikamatsu Zenshu" (The complete Works of Chikamatsu). Tree shaded hut. Buddhist offerings and a lute are seen. Semimaru, although he was blind, he later became a reknowned lute player. Here, he sits and looks like enjoying the quietness.
