Description:
Shuncho, produced some of the most beautiful erotic pictures of the Edo period. His erotic works frequently place great emphasis on the giving of sexual pleasure. The restrained coloring, known as beni-girai (red-avoiding) , is typical of some of Shuncho's best work.
