Description:

Signed, titled, dated, and numbered in pencil with a red seal. The print features a poem by the Zen monk poet, Santoka. Taneda Santoka spent most of his life wandering Japan as a begging monk. Santoka said, " Days I don't enjoy: Any day I don't walk, drink sake, and compose haiku". Cattle in the withered grass: A cow and its calf, together.
