Description:
A Very Funny Story, Mongols. This ribald image, originally called "A dirty Story" from a 1935 painting of Mongolians laughing, was laundered into a "Naughty Story" in 1952. The background shows a Chinese building visible through the paper screens, and a realistic Western perspective in the position of the listener's foot.
