Description:
From the Government-published Narrative of the Perry Expedition to the China Seas and Japan, a lithograph printed by Ackerman of New York based upon a drawing by M. Kellogg, presumably the Assistant Engineer on the Expedition. This is one of the few drawings not done by the Expedition's Artist, William Heine.
