Description:
Edition 111/470. Japanese title is "Same Komon". Takasawa's bijin-ga prints are highly sought-after and rare. It is also rare to see bijin-ga prints in this large "double-oban" size. This print was issued as a pair with the print "Spotted Fine Pattern", which also has the same edition number. It is said that Takasawa's wife modeled for all his bijin prints. Takasawa's Japanese and English signature are in the image area at the lower left, and signed in pencil in the bottom margin (right). Carver: Maeda; Printer: Sato (lower left margin). Publisher seal: Yuyudo (lower right margin). This is an album set item, and the price includes both this print and "Woman Burning Incense".
