Print shows Kampei in the act of seppuku; a woman, probably Osai, the brothel-keeper who has come with the final payment for Okaru, is standing near Kampei, as a porter waits next to her sedan chair. Scene from act six of the play Chūshingura or revenge of the 47 Rōnin.
