Thirty-two Aspects of Customs and Manners:# 11 Looking Frozen Artist: Yoshitoshi Format: Oban tate-e: 14.25" x 9.75" Subject: A Fukagawa Nakamachi geisha in the Tenpo era (1830-1844). A geisha walking with an opened umbrella in the snow. Considered one of the masterpieces of this fine set. Publisher: Tsunashima Kamekichi Date: 25/2/1888 Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed in margins. Album backing paper. Slight soils and stains. Some light offsetting. Minor marks and flaws. Fairly good state. Impression: Fine impression of the first edition with gauffrage and burnishing. Three color title cartouche.
