Kuchi-e: The Fire Artist: Unread Format: Aiban yoko-e: 8.5" x 10.5" Subject: Buildings on fire in the background, at the front in a cartouche a young bijin resting her head on her clasped fingers. Date: c. 1900 Condition: Full size. Album backing paper. Vertical centrefold. A small damage top right corner. Minor soils, marks and flaws. Generally very good state. Colour: Fine colors. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage, mica and burnishing.
