Saturday, 8 January 2011 Title: 舞妓夏 Geisha Girl in Summer [not titled on the print but on promo flyer] （some characters above and below viewable via Unicode encoding on your browser) Date (original issuing): c1950 Date (this particular edition): 1st and sole edition same as above Medium: Original Japanese Woodblock on high heavy quality mulberry paper Color: Multiple printed colors Dimension: image (37.5 x 43 cm or 14 3/4 x 16 7/8 inch), paper (40.3 x 45.7 cm or 15 7/8 x 18 inch) Credits: Fujo Ueda (original artist/carver/printer) Special Attributes: Artist personal seal in red at bottom right corner, his blind stamped or embossed signature in English [F. Ueda] at bottom right margin. Condition: This original Ueda Woodblock print is in very good condition [i.e., clear and clean image, strong and bright paper, vivid colors, original full margins, no tear, and slight but even age toning]. It was printed on high quality mulberry paper with a blank verso. There are some minor tape abrasive spots around the edge of margin on backside and some very minor handling creases as shown by the detailed photos.
