Description:
Monday, 6 June 2005 Japanese woodblock print of brightly colored parrot. It very closely matches a print by Tsuruoka Kaukonen, but the signature (in Japanese) is different, so I am a bit unclear as to the identity of the artist. That said, the print is absolutely spectacular! The color and impression are superb, and the condition is very good. The background is a velvety black. It measures about 18 ? x 9 or so; there are no margins, which is typical of prints of this type and age.
