Wednesday, 31 March 2010 Terazaki, Kogyo 寺崎 広業 (1866 - 1919) Girl carrying water-jug Signed: Kogyo Date: ca. 1900 Size: 183 x 38.8 cms (mounting) 102.8 x 33.5 cms (painting) 72 x 15 inch (mounting) 40 x 13 inch (painting) Technique: colours on silk Condition: Chuberi (middle part) of (mainly) dark-brown silk brocade, top and bottom of green silk, ichimonji and futai of beige&gold. Ivory rollers, titled original wooden box. Very good overall condition: recently remounted, re-using most of the original materials.
