Tatsumi, Shimura- Late Summer- 4.jpg is: This is a gorgeous woodblock print by shin hanga master Tatsumi Shimura; it is to my eye the standout bijin-ga print of the 20th century: a beautiful girl in a superbly rendered kimono, and a fan with Hokusai's Red Fuji (a very famous early woodblock print) at her side. The print is oban size, about 15 x 10 plus large margins. It is in pristine condition, never framed. Signed and sealed with the artist's red seal upper right. Wonderful color, impression and condition, a true masterpiece!
