Sunday, 9 January 2011 Original Takeuchi Seiho (1864 - 1942) Japanese Woodblock Print Landscape with Pagoda Comments - Charming landscape scene of a village with a tall pagoda spire rising above the rooftops. Tiny figures of a mother and child can be seen strolling along. Lovely soft color with allover flecks of silver mica creates an interesting, subtly shimmering appearance. Very attractive. Artist - Takeuchi Seiho (1864 - 1942) Image Size - 13 1/2" x 10 1/4" Condition - Excellent with no issues to report.
