Tuesday, 11 April 2006 Original woodblock print by Takahashi Shotei (1871-1945.) Evening Cool at Okawa, red Shotei seal and signature. 2 seals at lower right. Tanzaku size 15 x 6 3/4 inches, 39 x 17 cm. Printed circa 1923, pre Great Earthquake version. Unframed, very nice impression, strong colors. Very slight crease at upper right corner and tiny tear at very bottom right corner.
