Triptych: The Fuji Battle Artist: Nobukazu Format: Oban triptych: each sheet: 14" x 9" Subject: In the shallow waters of a lake at the foot of Mount Fuji a Samurai general on horse back is ambushed by three Samurai. Date: c. 1897 Condition: Fine colors. Japanese album backing paper. Slight trimming.Two small patches of offsetting around the sword. Minor marks and flaws. Generally quite good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with lacquer.
